Have you fallen in love with a special pet on our site but are unable to bring him/her into your home at this time.

Unfortunately, some of the pets that come into our group’s care suffer from injuries or chronic illnesses, while others have been badly abused and neglected. As a result, they need specialized medical treatment, behavioral training and extra love and nurturing before they can find their own permanent homes. These pets would likely be considered lost causes at other shelters and destroyed as a result. Here at Forgotten Paws, we allow all of our pets as much time as they need to find a special owner who can care for them, and once they are placed in their forever home, we continue to provide all the support and medical care they need to allow them to live as happily and comfortably as possible.

This is why we created the Sponsor a Pet Program. It allows you to help a particular pet who has pulled at your heartstrings.

How Does It Work?

If you already know which pet you would like to sponsor, simply click the button below and proceed with your secure online tax-deductible donation .  If you would like to sponsor a pet but don't know which one, simply browse the pictures of our available pets and return to this page to continue.

After making a sponsorship donation, you will receive acknowledgement from a volunteer and an emailed fact sheet on the pet you are sponsoring, and a tax receipt for your donation. (Note: To keep costs down, we are now emailing the sponsorship information.  You may still request them via regular post mail, however,  by emailing us or letting us know by your reply to our acknowledgement email.  Thank you for your understanding.)

Become a PET GUARDIAN! ATTENTION - Business' / Social Clubs / Entrepreneurs

Your company, group or just yourself, can sponsor a pet and have your logo and link to you site or contact information listed on our website for everyone to see. Drum up business from the dog loving community and get a TAX DEDUCTION in the process!

How does this work?

• You make a tax-deductible donation of $300 and we will place your logo and/or information on the pet of your choice for a duration of 6 months. You also get listed on out supporters page for everyone to see.

What if the pet gets adopted?

• We move your information to another pet. Your information will remain in clear view of all our supporters for 6 months.

What do I need to do?

• First you need to fill out the Guardian Angel Wings below. Click here for a printable version. Then you can submit the form and make your donation through Paypal -or- print the form and mail with your company check to the mailing address provided below. You will recieve a confirmation of your sponsorship and a tax reciept. After making your sponsorship, a volunteer will contact you for the exact information or logo you want listed on the site.
