MC (short for Miss Congeniality) is one happy little girl. Give her a baby pool and some bubbles and she’s busy for hours. She loves pawing at her shadow and the bubbles she creates while entertaining herself. MC is crate trained and house trained. She is good with all dogs and cats. She lets the small dogs climb all over her and she annoys the larger dogs by wiggling up and kissing them in the face. All she wants is to be loved, have toys and treats and a blanket to sleep under. She is big cuddler and will close her eyes and enjoy a good back rub. Mc also loves to go for walks and will trot with her head held high like a little Princess. She just needs someone to treat her like the precious little love that she is. MC is still a little timid of small children, especially if they are loud. She runs and hides.
History: MC was a victim of abuse in her first home. She lived in the upstairs of the home only and if let outside at all was sent to a small pen with 15 other dogs. She didn't know love and she didn't have a clue about housebreaking when we got her. She was a very scared girl when we first got her in August of 2006. MC was rescued with her sibling boyfriend Buster.

Savannah
is such a happy girl and always seems to be smiling, especially
after she gets her cool summer haircut! She is so much fun to watch
she will keep you laughing. She can spend hours playing by herself
with leaves or sticks or anything she can find. She also loves to
bounce around playing with her doggie friends. Savannah is very
loving and gives kisses. All she wants out of life is a wonderful
loving home with a big toy basket! History: Was taken from a family who had her and several other
small dogs living in the back yard in horrible conditions. |
Ralphie is an awesome little man. He is well trained. He can sit, shake, lay down and come on command. He is gentle and calm all of the time. He as recently started to play with the little 5 lbs dog in his foster home. He even waits patiently to be told it’s ok to jump up on the couch and cuddle in the blanket we keep there for him. He also knows how to look at you pitifully so you will sit with him! This little guy loves his little sweaters and once we shaved off all those mats he needed one. Ralphie is good with kids, dogs and cats, however, he is a tiny bones little guy and he is looking for a retirement home with no small children. Additional vet care completed in addition to the standard K9 annual check up: We ran Ralphie's blood work and all was very good except his white blood count. He had a serious infection in his mouth b/c his teeth and gums are horrible. We are trying to raise money to get his teeth cleaned. Help Sponsor Ralphie
History: Ralphie was found stray down by the river. He was matted to the skin with fishing wire tangled in his fur. He was the color of red clay and his nails were curled into his little matted feet. This sort of neglect took years to get to this point. He was so pitiful! It is obvious someone owned him once though due to his training. |

Petie and Chaz are great little boys! They are inseparateable brothers. They are rarely more then 10 feet apart and play together, lay together and love to fetch. Petie will play fetch non stop if you let him and when tired he will run away with the ball. Chaz prefers to chase sticks and torture them until they are in a million peices. Chaz can also jump 3 feet off the ground straight up in the air to get a toy from your hand. Petie is more Doxie and refuses to learn tricks. Chaz sits and shakes. They both come on command and run into their crate when told btu at night, they want to be on the bed under the covers snuggling up close. Both boys are a riot and wonderfully smart. Both boys also love fruits and veggies. Give them a banana peel and they are appeased for an hour! Chaz's favorite is strawberries. Petie loves oranges and I even snuck a little grapefruit in there too!. Fruits and veggies are good for dogs (no grapes!!!!) A secure fenced yard is REQUIRED!
History: Petie and Chaz were rescued from Bartow County Animal Control the day before they were to be killed. They were only 8 weeks old. Because we want to keep them together, we have not found a home. |

| Roxy is a wonderfully sweet little girl who has been neglected all her life. She is 8 years old and has had at least one litter of puppies every year of her life! She is now save and sound and happy as can be. Roxy is very loving and smart. She just wants to be loved. She will sit in the chair with you and watch television or curl up next you to take a nap. She just has a sweet expression on her face at all time. She loves to walk on a leash and will require leash walking or a very secure yard. She is very quick and loves to explore. No home with little kids who hold the doors open. She gets along fine with other dogs but is a little guarded over the person giving her love at the time. |
Wally is a darling little old man who just is so happy to be
loved. He wiggles his body and tail is happiness. Wally is completely
blind but his little beagle nose is working overtime and he gets
around just fine. Once he establishes where everything is he dodges
it all like a seeing dog. He is very smart. Wally needs a home without
a high deck and with very few steps b/c he has arthritis in his
rear end. Otherwise, Wally is in great shape. We would like to do
his senior bloodwork though so donations
are needed to help get him the senior medical care he needs!
Donations needed ASAP! Wally needs to have
both of his eyes removed. One has ruptured due to glaucoma and the
other is about to rupture. He is in pain from the pressure. Estimated
cost: $700! Please donate to help Wally!
History: Wally was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and not claimed. How could we let this sweet old man die alone! |

| Danica is a fun loving little doll!
She loves to sit in your lap or curl up next to you on the bed.
It doesn't matter how awkward the position, as long as she is next
to you. She loves her person more then anything on earth. Danica
also loves to play ball. She will chase it then trap it like a cat
does. Then she runs back bouncing with joy like she had just won
a prize. When she is happy to see you when you come home, Danica
will stand on her hind legs and stretch her arms as high as they
will go and do a little happy dance for your attention. She is adorable
and just keeps us laughing. She will need a home where she can be
walked or where she has a secure fenced in yard. She will also need
a home where front doors are not held open b/c she is a minpin mix
and very fast.
Danica is heartworm positive. She is still currently up for adoption
as we need to find her a quiet home where she can be leash walked
so we can do her treatment. Donations are needed to get her treatment
completed. Be a Sponsor!
History: Danica was dumped at Animal Control by someone claiming
they found her but she was "too big" and they didn't want
her! 11 lbs!!!!! We were there when they left her behind so we saved
her when her stray period of up so she would not have to suffer
through more time living in the shelter and possibly death. |
| Daisy is a very happy friendly girl.
She is not hyper like a typical Jack Russell but she does like to
play, especially when she can tear up a stuffed animal and then
prance around like the just saved the family from a horrible intruder!
She minds very well and comes when called. She just needs someone
to give her lots of love and toys to keep her entertained. She will
follow you everywhere just to see if she can assist with anything.
She loves to sit and put her head in your lap while you watch television
and she loves to sleep snuggled up close at night. Daisy is great
with dogs, cats and kids.

| Squirt is wonderfully loving little
man who loves to give lots of kisses. He wants to be held and loved
all the time. He sleeps curled up next to you on the bed and sits
in your lap if you watch TV. Squirt will follow you around from
room to room making sure not to miss anything. He paws at you in
the morning telling its time to get up and let him outside! His
favorite toys belong to the cat because they are more his size then
dog toys. Of course Squirt thinks he is a big dog. He chases his
foster sister, a border collie, all over the yard but he is smart
enough that when she starts running, she stops and waits for her
to pass him again. He really only runs about 6 feet each pass! At
first Squirt chased the cats and growls at the dog but once he realize
they were okay, he was okay. It took about a day. He just needs
someone to baby him! No children under 8 years of age b/c of his
size.
History: Squirt was found in the mall parking lot by a good samaritan.
He was hiding under a car, covered in fleas, ticks and mud. No one
ever claimed him from the shelter so he was rescued to find a new
home.

| Audrey is a very dainty, sweet little
girl. She loves to sit in your lap on the on the back of the couch
as long as she is near you. She goes in her crate without being
told but she really just wants to curl up in a ball and sleep on
the bed next to you. As I type this, Audrey is supervising from
my lap. She just sits and watches the other dogs from her perch.
Once she gets settled in a new home, I think she will blossom and
be playful. You can just see it in her step and in her eyes. Audrey
needs a home who leash walks or has a very secure fenced yard. She
also needs a home without children who hold the door open as she
is an explorer and becomes conveniently deaf when she gets loose.
History: Audrey was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and
her owners never claimed her. We rescued her on her last day.

Stella is very loving and full of playful spirit. She loves to
chase her toys or play chase with the small dogs. She also loves
to be held and just watch television. She is an absolute doll baby.
She needs a home who can keep her groomed b/c that is the way she
likes it! She needs a home who wants a happy spirited girl full
of kisses and who needs lots of hugs
History: Stella was a "backyard breeder" dog. She has
had many litters of puppies but is now safe and sound and happy
to be alive. No more momy duties for her! |
