Dogs for Adoption

Hope is a wonderfully sweet young girl who just wants to be loved and find her forever home. She has been waiting for several months but no one ever asks about her or her sister. Hope is smart and playful. She loves to wrestle and roll with other dogs. She really loves chewing on her ropes and bones and just being a puppy. In this photo she is getting ready to pounce on her sister!

History: A friends sister rescued these puppies from her neighbor. He had gotten them from a friend of his. He thought they were covered in fleas so he told her he poured bleach on them to kill the fleas. It wasn't fleas it was mites. He also confessed that he had cropped their tails with a knife!!!!!! We quickly got them vetted and now, several weeks later, they are mange FREE and happy and healthy.

Faith is all puppy and just wants to play and be loved. She needs a home to care for her, buy her lots of toys and teach her lots of fun stuff. She loves to get hugs and can't wait until the kids in her foster home get home from school. She and her sister Hope play chase and romp and roll all day long.

Honey Bear

HoneyBear is the smallest of a litter of 6 puppies who has a super sweet personality. She loves to cuddle and makes little noises as she gets close to you for hugs and will sit quietly by your side for a nap on the couch. She’s playful, adventurous and very smart. You have to watch her though, if there is an open door, she is the first one through it because she is also very curious about everything. She is gentle and light on her feet, weighing in at only 17 pounds as of July 19th. HoneyBear will be somewhat tall when fully grown and weigh about 45 pounds. For the smart part, HoneyBear recently saved her sister, Biscuit's, life by alerting her foster family that something was seriously wrong. Biscuit had gotten her collar tangled up in the backyard and was choking. HoneyBear knew something was seriously wrong, (despite being only 16 weeks old!) ran for help and threw herself against the back door to get attention! She's is one special dog and she is looking for a special home who will love her and baby her and treat her like the gentle soul she is. Home requirements include a tall privacy fenced yard (she can jump and climb) and another dog.

History: Bella (mommy dog) was picked up stray and had puppies at the Animal Shelter.

Nikky is a sweet, loving, very devoted young lady. She enjoys basking in the sun and chasing squirrels by day and big cuddles and hugs by night. She gives kisses and listens very well to her foster mom. Nikky loves the water and has had a blast playing in her baby pool this summer. Nikky is very sweet and just wants to be loved. She has come along way since we rescued she and her sister from the shelter. Nikky can now sit for treats and walk on a leash. She still jumps a little with excitement when you come home but she is getting much better. Nikky will need an active person to wear her out or a big Privacy Fenced yard. She can jump high so we suspect a short fence would be no barrier to her. She is a wonderful girl but like most average black and tan dogs, she keeps getting overlooked!

History: Nikky and her sister (who was an obvious choc lab and obviously her sister) were picked up stray by Animal Control. No one ever came to claim them and their time was up.

Charlie cracks me up! He is short on almost a doxie like body but don't tell him b/c he thinks he is a lab! His mother was a chocolate lab mix and his dad was supportively a pure Miniature Pinscher, I think something else is in there too! He is so sweet and fun and loves to chase a ball. He hasn't figured out to bring it back yet but he is getting there. He just needs a nice fenced yard and someone to play with him. Charlie is great with other dogs and cats too! He also loves people but when in public he gets a little shy. I think it is all so overwhelming....that or he knows how to work it for more attention!

History: Charlie's mom and dad were dumped at a shelter when she was pregnant. She had her puppies but no one ever adopted them b/c they were just your average black puppies. Charlie and his 2 brothers and one sister are still looking for homes.

Thumper is an absolute doll baby. He is such a baby at heart and just wants to be loved and given the attention he deserves. He loves to play with the other dogs and Eliza (listed above)is his best friend. They love to wrestle and roll and just have a great time. Thumper also likes to lay at your feet and chew on his bones and toys. He listens very well and can sit on command. Thumper loves children! He grew up with 2 small children but he still needs work on not getting so excited when he see's them. All he wants is to be loved. Home requirements: Leash walking is okay for an active person. If you have a fence it must be tall b/c she can climb a short one.

History: Thumper was adopted from us when he was three months old. His family left him in the backyard alot and didn't put the necessary training into him. When he was little, it was cute how he chased the kids and jumped around happily but as he grew the kids became afraid of him b/c he had not been taught not to do all that. When school started, no one had time for Thumper anymore. The consequence is that Thumper is now back looking for a new home.

This girl is full of spirit, love and lots of kisses, especially is you are handing out dog cookies! Shleby just love to play. She and her siblings chase each other around the tree and under the bushes or they just love to sit alone and eat their toys and bones in a batch of sunlight. She is wonderfully sweet and would make great family dogs. Having Minpin in them though, they are quick babies and smart as can be! She does not know how to walk on a leash yet so a fenced yard may be required. Siblings are also listed and include: Charlie, Elli and Sam

Elli is a petite little thing more minpin like then her brothers. Her adult teeth are even late coming in while her brothers have a full set! She is precious and curious and very loving and playful. She loves to get her dog cookies and even tried to get to the bag but her little body was too short to reach the table. She has the most precious little face too!
