Junior is almost 3 now and has been here since he was 7 months old. He has watched while his friends and his mom found loving forever homes. He went to foster for a month but they couldn’t handle 3 large dogs without a fence, however it did give us the opportunity to understand how well he would do in a normal home outside of the kennel house.
Junior is 2 3/4 yrs old, 65 lbs lab pit mix. He suffers from BLACK DOG SYNDROME meaning he’s black and the least desirable to humans. Throw in that he is a boy and a bully breed and it’s the hardest combo to get adopted, cat or dog!
Junior a fabulously sweet boy and has never met a stranger. When volunteers are here he wants to follow them around for love and attention. He lives doggie daycare and he loves to snuggle with his person.
He likes toys and playing with other dogs but is pretty mellow most of the time just chilling, chewing on a durabone and watching the activities. At this moment he is laying in the bed next to me with his head using a small dog as a pillow.
Good with dog and kids, he has never been around cats but I think he would be scared of them so would be fine. Housebroken and crate trained. Neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped.
