Sage is a 1½-year-old Chihuahua mix with 19 pounds of pure sweetness.
For the first part of her life, Sage knew nothing but the end of a chain. She spent every day outside, tethered to a doghouse, watching life pass her by. I first met her last February (2025) before a snowstorm and offered to help find her a home. At the time, her owners weren’t ready — but in May, they called, and Sage’s second chance began.
Since then, she’s been discovering how wonderful life can be. She loves to play with dogs of all sizes, greet new friends with a wag, and soak up affection from anyone who offers it.
