Scout is 2 yrs old and has been here since he was 10 weeks. He is now 60 lbs, shepherd or hound, lab mix. He is the sweetest boy but a little shy of new things at first. It takes him a couple of minutes and some treats to warm up to people and dogs but once he knows you he is fabulous. I think in the right home who can take him places, his shyness will easily go away.
Good with other dogs, he has never been an only dog. He would thrive having another dog to follow and learn from. Cats are unknown but with his personality, I think he would be scared of them. Good with older kids
